New Competition Interest thread.

Hello Everyone. We currently have two contests going on right now but I know there are many that would love to join. Lets get your thoughts on what you would like to see and how many would be interested. no need to make a list just post if you are interested and what type of coral.

SPS - have always been the way to go with contests as they do not move much and growth can be easily tracked. These contests

ZOA - Contests for these can be tricky, Coloration will usually be the same and easily varied from camera to camera.

LPS - we have had a favia contest before and it seemed to work. Chalices would be a good option as well i think.

What about a montipora, easy grower and colors differently in different tanks. I think itll be easy to judge ie color and growth/pattern. Also will be easier to cut exact sizes.

Lets do a zoa growout. Everyone can participate with that. Everyone starts with 4 or 5 polyps from the same colony and then count the heads after 3 or 4 months?
