Hi all, made the investment and upgraded to all Kessils. I have a 100 gallon 5' long mixed reef tank and plan to have 3 A360WE's spread across. They will be controlled through my Apex. My system is already used to led's but lower end units, one Current USA and two Wavepoint fixtures to be exact, all 48". So the question is how to acclimate to the new lighting. Start at the lowest intensity and gradually increase? Or since they are used to led's go ahead and dive in? I don't have a par meter but do have access to one if advised.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks as always.

Great thanks. Start at around 30% intensity and go from there. What about color, strictly preference?

Here's a pic for an idea of the corals.

I started around 20% with 360NEs in a 24" tank and have been increasing 5% a week. I'll probably stop at 60%. :)

If you are going to control with Apex the color stream change between 20% and 40%. 20% for dawn to dusk then move up to 40% in the peak of the day, this adjustment will only change color. This will go from all Blue to Radium Bluish White color, but keep the whites low to not burn your corals. I would start dawn at 20% and move to 35% to 40% the first two hours. then I would peak them out at 50 to 60% just for a hour and then ramp them down. After a month you can up intensity and add more white if you like. If you would like to see how my intensity and color ramp works I can let you have access to my fusion to look only. My lights are 8" off the water every 18" on a 25" deep tank for reference. I think you can ramp them up to 100% if your corals do not seem to suffer? They are very awesome lights! I do also have T5, but I think if you want to have the crazy colors these lights can show off LPS like no other! Under the lights you will need to aclimate the coral when you get up to higher intensity, but the rest of the tank will be fine.
