New LFS in 626 SGV Area?? THought??

Looking to buy a building or Take back one of My units im leasing in Temple city or Arcadia Area and turning it into a Reef Store.. What do you guys think of a LFS in this Part of Socal? Looking to be closer to home and try out the area. I dont think there are many LFS around. I use to just go to PTF. LMK your thought and any ideas..

I live in San Gabriel and PTF is my local store. Steve has a different, old school approach to reefing and I think there is definitely room for another reef store. There are a lot of us in the valley here who are tired of fighting OC traffic to get to one of the really nice reef shops.

The new LA Reef club meets int he SGV as well. It would be great to have you local and on board there as well, Mike.

Sounds good guys. Owning an actual store front out in Fullerton taught me many things.

I learned that only 10% or less of the reefers are the high end people so i have to have a section of the store for $10-20 frags. I also learned that for some reason Socal people like to bargain. hahhaha Ill say i have adjusted well. i use to let it bother me when people ask for a discount as though its a swapmeet or something but now i just tell them i have other cheaper stuff and help them pick out stuff more in their price range. I have to admit though i go give you socal guys real good prices compared to what i do all over the country and other forums.
