After a long layoff of 12 years I'm getting back to it. Used to have a rimless 90G SPS tank after moving up from smaller tanks. 400W MH, Tunze skimmer/homemade Calcium reactor. A lot has changed! I still have my old trusty Tunze 335 Protein Skimmer which still works perfectly. Not sure how it compares to the more modern skimmers but for now I will be starting slow with a Nano Cube. Back in the day I made a 5G acrylic nano reef that ran pretty much by itself with a few corals, airstone skimmer and PC light. Two tiny Percula's thrived in that tank without ever being fed and were as healthy as could be. One of my favorite tanks so now I'm going through the process again with my young son.

This site is fantastic BTW!

Thanks everyone!

I was wondering if you guys could recommend some shops in OC. Was pretty impressed with Reef Lounge and was hoping to hear of some others like it that are worth looking at.

Cheers

Hey there Ron, nice to see you here on the forum. Try Coral gazers, chad has some really nice corals. He's a cool guy you can talk to for a long time as well.

Ron defiantly check out Coral Gazers in Tustin. You may find me loitering around on Friday evenings BSing with Chad. Great guy, great corals, and he knows his stuff.
