New Reefer in IE

[Chronology]

Hey guys,

My name is Ali, I just started up a reef tank about 6 months ago in my living room. The initial idea was to get a 55G and setup a small tank, well it ended up being 110G DT and a 40G sump/fuge. Go figure!

Hardware -

110G Display Tank - 48x18x30
40G Sump - DT Drain -> ESHOPPS S-150 -> Fuge with Cheto+Other -> PhosBan150/ Return pump
2x Hydor Koralia Evolution 1150GPH each
Marineland Reef Ready LED 48" (Yes I am now aware I have crappy lights The PAR at 30" is scary but I am saving up for better

Fish -

Fire Angel
Naso Tang
6 Line Wrasse
Purple Pesudo chromis
Copperband Butterfly
4 x Three Spot Domino Damsel fish

Coral -

Random Zoa's
1 small / 1 med Pink Xena
2 Different types of Frogspawn (short and long tentacle)
Island plate of Purple Mushrooms about 8
1 Duncan that has grown into 5 heads
1 Large pink flowerpot
1 Med Toadstool
Acid Tip bubble nem - just added hes hiding but fully open
1 Large Finger coral
2 Small colonies of GSP


I wanted to say hi, and I am always looking for help, tips or ideas. Ill post more in another section of the forum with pics of the tank and specific information.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I just got home and the lights are off so ill take some more updated pics tomorrow. I have a W/C clean up tomorrow also so the pics should be nice and clear

Sorry it the shots are jumbled, also the sump shot is upside down. Its been a long day.

I found that my Fire Angel and my Copperband both have ICH (MI). I didnt have a QT, so I ran out and got a Nuvo 16 . Its my QT (What I told my wife and its true) however I hear its great for Nano SPS . Anyways, I am going to wait to see if I can catch both fish. Wish me luck, I have tried bag in bag (caught other fish) using the net and also placing food in the net and trying to "fish" my fish out. No luck. I refuse to drain the water to catch him, and also I feel that Ill be stressing them out more. I guess the worst part is I just purchased a decent QT tank, on the bright side, if I can catch both or either I can hope to save them. I plan on using hypo salinity not copper.
