Please define "Spam" as the term has been used in the new rules.

I posted pictures yesterday that I would consider spam but those were in an effort to offer a humorous response to others posted that I viewed as same. If my view of either of those cases is not in line with the admin here it would be nice to have some clarification.

I would think it obvious that not in my wildest dreams would those images and links lead to any personal gain from this site.

That's an obvious spam from a bot that joined to do just that. I don't see where that needed to be addressed in your newly posted set of rules.

These rules are still evolving but they needed to be posted so these questions are helpful

For those that don't want to click the new link:

"Ok a little clarification. Spamming in the rules posted here includes bot posting and constantly posting your product outside of your vendor forum. An example is if a thread is about motorbikes you posted that you had just gotten a shipment of blue tangs and lyretail anthias."

Might I suggest all these definitions/questions remain in this ONE thread?

Thanks!

Ariel posted an announcement type thread and I started this one. Ariel is still replying in the announcement while we post here. Bruce was suggesting that all information be held in one place.

The reason I reply to the announcement is I want it to stay on the home page for a while so everyone gets a chance to read it.
