new shallow!

been looking for a shallow tank and found it from DETANE....so heres what i got after a 4 and a half hour round trip drive from my place to BFE...just got the baffles out, cleaning it up and giving it a good vinegar bath and mud scrub, replacing the bulkheads, then its onto the stand....going to home depot in a bit for the lumber

tank dims: 48x18x15 so around 56.1 gallons

sorry about the wait guys...i cant get pics of the tank since i havent had a chance to properly clean it with the weather...heres some of the stand build pics...luis gave me the idea to use 2x2's so for his sake lets hope it works.....

so heres a pic of the extra "just in case" bracing that im putting on the corners of the stand for bonus support....and now its outside so i can spray a sealant coat on it to avoid water damage


also! picked up this beast euroreef cs6-2 protein skimmer with sedra 5000

tomorrow im going to be cleaning up the tank nicely and doing some other work on it so thoose will be up when im done with the work

been super behind on this build....just got some huge progreess done over the weekend

heres a FTS of it set up in my room finally, the overflow i got from John....last 2 pics are of the brackets i was using to hang my lights....4' 2x4s on each side with heavy duty shelf mounting brackets bolted to the back of the stand

currently im working on my plumbing then i just have to hunt down the remaining pieces of equipment i need
