Because it's all glass i'm going with 3 holes no teeth. I want the overflow all the way to the bottom so that it rest on the stand and because the overflow is on the back of the tank out side.
Oh ok. you have to watch out for CUC/ fish going in the overflow and clogging. I have seen SPS coral store external overflow with teeth on all glass tank and looks sweet

I talked to them about those. They are sweet, but unless you get the tank built from them they have to remove and replace the entire back panel....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Depending on what size holes you are going to use, you might be able to use a PVC drain strainer and just slip it into the hole without a BH. I have a 60mm that you can use after I am done drilling my tank if you want to go that size.
Have you considered coast to coast external with a slotted back panel? If you're going through the trouble of putting together an external box, you might as well do it up.
I have the same dimensions, external overflow box, PVC bottom tank, I plumbed the PVC pipes over the back of the tank rather than drilling a hole into the tank.
