theres about 100lb

30x turnover
part of the closed loop is pushed under the rock work so that nothing settles on the bottom, theres about a 1" gap between the rock work and the back of the tank. The rocks are zip tied to a PVC frame that is attached the top of the tank and sitting on eggcrate.

at first I thought, wow, that is a ton of rocks and it looks like the typical rock wall, but the side shot shows the detail or the relief in the rock wall and I think it is cool.

It needs TIME for stuff to grow in and fill in, but if you are like me, you are in no rush, and will let it GROW IN onit's own...

Wow that is a ton of rock! Once its covered in Coralline algae and corals start filling in, I think its going to look great.
