Hi everyone,
My name is Crystal. I am from Seattle, WA and moved to Cali last November. I had a number of fresh water tanks in WA ranging up to 150 gallons but then decided to switch to saltwater. I had a 29 gallon Bio cube full of coral and anemone that I sold before moving down here. After finally getting somewhat settled into our new house, I decided to get back into the hobby. I just acquired an already established 28g nano cube set up that came with two clowns and some live rock. I really won't be able to start adding any livestock until after the holidays but would really like to find a RBTA or two as soon as possible for the clowns.

Anyhow, I look forward to learning more from all of you. Have a great weekend~Crystal

Go back to Seattle!

J/k welcome to SCR. How long was the newly procured tank established? Nems need super stable parameters, old water and consistent flow before they're viable. I know it's cool to watch clowns host a nem but even after my RBTA has been in my tank for 2mos my clowns don't pay it any attention at all. I'm fairly certain Nems are not considered a beginner piece.

But, there are way more knowledgable people then me on this forum, you're in a great place with a great community. Tons of generous people on this forum.

Yay another Crystal!!! ;)

I believe there's three now on the site. You can definitely find what your looking for on here and get all the help you could want. Just don't be afraid to ask. Oh and as far as the nem goes I would wait a bit longer until grabbing one.

Questions about the tank you got. How long has it been running since you reset it up? Did it come with sand and did you reuse it?

Oh and just warning you, these guys can get a little crazy. All in good fun. ;-p

Nice to have you here and hope to meet you sometime down the road. :)

Thank you, Untico and yes, I agree that I should wait a while until everything in the tank settles and stabilizes. The tank did come with sand which of course, I have not taken out. The only thing taken out of the tank to transport it to my house was most of the water which was then poured straight back into the tank after I got it home. I believe the guy had the tank for a couple of years but I will email him and ask. Here is the new set up ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415428573.670665.jpg
