Hey whats up everyone.

Name is Mario. New to this and by new I mean I've had about 5 nano's (24G) over a year and a half, Bought a 120G from a fish store gave them about 5 grand to start the setup bought about 4 grand worth of corals. they kept screwing up on the plumbing. They put the heater in the overflow box and I even asked them to put it somewhere else they said no it's fine leave it alone. 4 times the tank emptied itself 1/4 way down saltwater everywhere on my hardwood floors. I was very patient with them. THe last time It did it I was very dissapointed and told them come get your tank I am not paying you for the rest of it I want my money back. What happened is the heater melted through the plumbing and overflow so water was coming in hence it was able to empty itself out when their plumbing started leaking. SO they came picked it up Took all my coral and fish I had in the tank alot of the stuff I didn't even buy from them such as some nice sorals from Vivid aquarium.

They said they would replace everything and get me a new tank. Needless to say it is about 6 months later still no tank. I went in there a couple of weeks ago asked them what's up with my tank. He sai Let me know when you want me to order it. I said what the F@$k.!!!!! he still had the nerve to quote me on a new tank. I was like what about the 5 grand I gave you. He said what about it???? His wife says she will replace the corals and fish but he won't replace my tank. He kept everything my Skimmer, chiller, Coralife MH's, UV ster., sump, everything I saw him sell the tank to somebody else 1 time I was there.
THey are just money hungry people who don't care about the customer. I realized this when he said I would rather have smeone come in and spend 2K and never see them again then 1 person who comes in everyso often and buy something. I said WOW Great business methods (NOT).
Needless to say I will keep on this fish store till I recover something back.

IO am not letting this 1 very bad experiance sway me away from this. Now I will do it my self little by little and learn alot from this board.
I still have 3 Nano cubes, a 45 gallon hexagon, a 35 rectangular and a 65 rectangular tanks. They 35 and 65 are still under construction.

Take care everyone.

The only problem is that litigation is expensive and to royal PITA.

Just try to get your stuff back and chalk it up as a learning experience.

Or, if you're big on principle, taking them to court may be worth it...

I'm a sucker for issues of principle...

the 1 thing that sucks about the whole litigation thing is: My brother in law works there. I know as soon as I start something he will loose his job.. So we are kind of waiting for him to find another job.
