How's it going guys! New to this, names Junior m. Got a 10 Gallon Biocube. Started my tank in the beginning of December and so far I've been satisfied. Drop some pics, and any info on how to improve my tank would be cool!

Hi Junior welcome!
looks great I'm new myself so I really can't give you too much advice.I do like bare bottom tanks but on a with 10 gallons I think that you not only need the sand/substrate for looks but I think mainly it's great for bio filtration.
Not necessary but it sure does help.Welcome aboard and a FUN!

Hey junior, welcome! The tank looks great. I would add more rock but I also don't see any fish so might not be an issue. If you do decide on fish the more live rock the better. This being your first saltwater tank your going to have a huge learning curve on a smaller tank, their much harder to manage chemistry swings in the water, but it's doable.

Welcome to SCR Junior M.

Here is my advice. Since you are running barebottom and small tank. I would suggest remove as much as detrius as you can cause the picture show a lot of detrius on the bottom that could affect your water quality. also add small powerhead that aim to the bottom for flow and clean up.

Tell us more about your filtration and your routine.

Thanks for the advice. I will have to clean up my bottom soon. And I do have a pump in the tank but it's facing from left side of tank to right for flow. Filtration keeping simple, since AIO have sponge and carbon in back & return pump. Do my water changes every Sunday. Since 10 gallon I do 1.5 or 2 gallons change. And been doing so ever since I've been adding fish and coral & in the picture before adding more coral you can see my pump where it's facing.

did you clean the sponge and suck out detrius? might add fine filter media for fine particles (but need to clean frequently as well) If you have room in the back, add refugium or rubble rock for more biological filtration.
I see the pump now, and you might move it down or back right corner and aim down to the bottom.

Yes every time I water change I clean sponge and carbon. I will probably go to my LFS later on and buy the pump to suck out that detrius. And will move my pump from left to right side and aim down.

you don't need pump suck out that detrius, long flexible tube or turkey blaster will do.

if you have room in the back chambers, move the heater there or see if you can hide it behind the tonga rock. Its a bit distracting.

see if you can work that tonga in some other positions. Having it vertical like that gives you little estate to put corals. The top will shade the bottom. I would flip the tonga so it can sits horizontally and ditch that rock on left or get another small piece of tonga. Very nice piece of tonga by the way.

+1 on aiming that power head a bit down.
