Hi Isaac, is that sunset monti a type of digitata or setosa? How do you grow that and the green digitata? Light/flow/parameters?

As you've seen, my corals are a bit angry after I took out the paly island and gave it a shave, and my red digitata hasn't done well (although mint green pavona has). Still dialing things in. Maybe will be ready for montis by your next set of frags!

It’s a Mystic Sunset Montipora that’s encrusted uniquely over a couple of Forest Fire Digitata skeletons giving them that cool branching form.

These are hardy in my water. Flow direction greatly impacts growth patterns. I have the mother colony creating a plate simply because the water flow is pushing up on it.

Coral keepers can use this species to encrust over unique forms and cultures.

My water chemistry is
Alk: 8-8.6 dkh
Ca: 455
Mg: 1455
PO4: .03
NO3: 5-9
SG: 1.025-1.026
Temp: 76-78
pH: 8.2-8.4

Mine seems to like higher light around 250par but does well lower in the tank but does not seem to encrust as quickly.
