ok my tank looks very bland and not that lively...
so i thought i'd pick up some fish...

let me know asap if this is smart to do because i'm going to place orders on fish later today, and i don't want to make any stupid mistakes...

ok so heres the projected line up of what i want...

2 ocellaris or percula clowns
1 maroon clown (a playmate for my other maroon)
1 strawberry pseudochromis
and
a lawnmower blenny or scooter blenny, which ever will help with my algae problem.

let me know what i should do...

i really want new tank mates for my lone Maroon clown on top of that make my tank more lively...

any suggestions is would be greatly appreciated...
thanks and happy new year guys!!!

how big is your tank? mixing clowns is a not a wise choice, especially in a small tank. if you already have a maroon clown, you might want to get one that is a lot smaller since the one you have right now most likely has established itself as a female in your tank. it might be kinda hard to get them to become a mated pair. most reefers have a terrible time trying to get two to accept eachother. on the other hand, you might get lucky the first time around and they may become compatible. good luck with your choice.

Are you planning on putting them in the 20 g. on your profile? If so I would stick with only one pair of clowns, I've heard Maroons can get real aggressive. In a 20. g. I would pry just go with a pair of clowns and the scooter or lawnmower. Hope this helps.
