Congratulations!

I have a question a couple actually:).

1. Maybe im missing something in the article. If you are skimming throughout a year and filling up to level with RO/DI water,..wouldnt you salinity go slowly down ?

2. You dont supplement magnesium ?

3. How long have you had the Gonioporas and do you do anything special for their care ?

PS. Guys,..it would be nice to actually have an article with Q&As, history of the tank, feeding regime etc etc rather then just the tank stats. Good job though...thanks for sharing

Keith's a very busy man. He will be signing in here soon and will be answering questions for everybody. The stats about his tank is up on his blog, you can also leave messages on his blog for him to answer as well as comment.

From what I know of him, he's been a hobbyist for a few years and have been a member of SDMAS during it's early years. His old tank was a 100gallon mixed Reef and the majority of it's livestock was transfered into the new tank.

Yeap, once a year water changes. The fish looks like they are swimming in Air, super clean.

- No Dead Spots in his tank, so nutrients doesn't accumulate
- Uses RO/DI for top-offs
- Quality Equipments
- Huge Water Volume
- Quality Aged Liverock
- Well Planned Out System + Experienced Aquarist = GREATNESS!

It's a pleasure photographing other peoples art. It's a lot of fun and very informative. You can really learn a lot from these experienced reefers.
I just wanted to apologize again for not having a proper November TOTM, been really busy and the fire and the holidays, it's been crazy. I might setup Belated November TOTM ;), maybe a nano tank.

Wow, nice tank.

I think I know Keith. I got the branching GSP and Xenias from him a long time ago (last year 2006). This was the time when he still has the old tank and I saw his current tank not being set up yet and it was a brand new tank.

Funny how I looked at the name Keith and the first thing that I thought about was him but I am not sure since his current tank look nothing like his old tank. Then all of a sudden I saw the branching GSP (which not a lot of people have) and his particular Xenia (not a lot of people have that kind also) and after reading this thread and the location where he is from, I realize that it is probably the same Keith that I once got the branching GSP and Xenia from.

Keith, if you are reading this, your branching GSP is still thriving in my tank. Nick can vouch for it.
