RULES:
3. On the first of each month a photo of your frag with a ruler next to it will need to be posted to this thread. You will have from the 1st-5th of each month to post. If you do not post an update in this period you will be disqualified.

Yea but the last contest that rule didn’t hold for squat. People forgot to post a monthly and this rule was bent or broken.
So I’m just pointing out the fact again there is a rule. So when the babies start crying, I’ll be one of the first to call them out.

There is a grace period you have from the 1-5th of each month to post. I understand life gets in the way but I think that is practical right? If you think we need more time we can adjust that.

I can already see several check-in’s I’ll be out of town on business for but I’m making the lady get her hands wet for the updates. She just doesn’t know it yet

Is it possible for the IE people to pickup from Dennis or Richard directly?

I’d hate to see my frag come from the IE sit in 2 hours of traffic to sit in another 2 hours of traffic.

Or if Dennis doesn’t want that many people to stop by the shop we can have and IE person pick up the IE people frags.

Yes we will definitely be sticking to the rules that's part of any contest. There will be no A's for effort handed out here. Now that being said if someone truly thinks more time is necessary we discuss that or has a major life event going I think we can be lenient.

But I think participation is part of the challenge just as much as growing the coral. Aside from the fun, bragging rights, and a cool coral the idea is to bring the community together and keep members engaged. Hopefully new can learn from old and vice versa. While there are new reefers who may struggle just to keep their frag alive there will be OGs that forget to get that post up, kind of levels the playing field.

I am a information kind of guy, so I will be tracking everyone's monthly progress (data I can provide you at the end if you want it). With that I intend to send everyone an update PM a day or two before each check-in period begins.
