I’ll get another pic tomorrow, I placed the ruler on plug and didn’t realize the cm started so far up

Day 1

I’ll get a ruler with cm and repost. Didn’t have one handy yesterday. Easily converted also.
1 inch = 2.54 cm

This is getting serious, remember it’s for fun. We will not be that accurate in measurements anyways. Angle of the camera can also skew results. How many significant figures are we using?

Seems easier and less room for mess ups. Starting point is "x" no matter what so placing on top of plug/surface rules out one variable.

I'm down for that.

That would be easier if everyone got the same ruler. Lol. Unfortunately mine has a huge gap. But my measurement will be consistent since it’s going to be resting on my frag rack everytime

I was handling these rulers out for the ”Pimped Out” growout. The markings start right off the edge of the ruler. It’s a little flexible so you won’t accidentally break it. I have gotten them at CVS. It’s only $1.20 each

I don’t think the ruler really matter. According to the rules, it’s the overall growth from the first post of the growout. 2cm of growth is 2cm of growth no matter where you start on the ruler. As long as everyone agree to using CM not IN for units of measurement.

Sorry about the rulers … we intended to also hand out rulers but as Jose mentioned any ruler will do and should be a null issue. If you absolutely have no access to a ruler PM me your address I will Amazon one to you.

Remember it’s about total growth so even if your ruler starts at 30 CM, as long as you always measure starting at that mark, it won’t make a difference.

As a rule of thumb, yes please use the CM side of the ruler and measure from base of plug or rock if you removed it from the plug.

This is clearly a growth and color up contest as mine is colorless. I clearly need a different color ruler however this will work for now, lol
