How is it that i get a tank and it takes me 492 days to set it up and you get a tank and its up in 18 hrs? Big congrats on the nice new tank compa
Thanks! Haha dude I’m not even done! I have to redo the plumbing once the metric bulkheads get here. Oh and let’s not talk about the frag tank in the garage. That will be a slow build

Got the metric bulkheads a month before I was quoted. Ordered metric adapters and metric pipes, and standard schedule 80 pipes.

Changed the plumbing to schedule 80, did the aqua scape, shutdown the frag tank, moved everything over to this tank, and replaced the a360x’s with AP700s. We’ll see what survives over night.

Tank is still cloudy and it smells like skimate. My huge leather coral didn’t make it. It was already declining in the garage tank.

Everything looks really happy so I threw on the ozone setup. The skimmer is super frothy right now. Hopefully this think clears up soon.

Thanks! You should recognize the one in the first pic. I’ve never had favias feed during lights on. OGPHYTO makes a huge difference! Lol… for reals though. Just look at this short polyp Goni I got from Vu.

Thanks! I grow my own phytoplankton. I have 4 different strains then I mix them all together when I haven’t once a week. I’ve been selling it locally and I’ve experimented with shipping so I’ll be doing that soon.

Well some bad news. The purple tang I rehoused when I moved made it back to me. Unfortunately the baby “yellow belly” had a few spots on it and the PT exploded with ich. He is still fat and eating. A few days ago I started treating with Medic and he’s looking better now. I should have taken a picture of him when he was at his worse. He was completely covered. The medication is not messing with my sps. They still have a lot of polyp extension
