Ok! Finally done with the plumbing!!! I took a week off from the tank but now I'm back on track. I'll be cycling by the end of the week. Hopefully there will be no leaks.

Drilled the overflow and added flow accelerators

Manifold done!

Very nice!
Question tho, do those flow accelerators actually increase flow? Jet stream or dispurse?

Thank you!

They claim it does a vortech flow. Theres also a rotating defuser in them and that's why I bought them. I want random surface agitation for the shimmer effect. I'm planning on putting some MP40's under the nozzles and an MP60 on the other side.

I am extremely satisfied, surprised really, with the Hydor ones you recommended for me. If yours work even half as good as the ones that I've got (which I'm sure they're better), you should be very satisfied.

Got the tank cycling! I'm adding salt today. I do like the surface agitation with the flow accelerator. The drain is loud but I have a Maggie Muffler somewhere in my storage. I do have to add a ball valve to one of the returns so I can get even flow through both. If I stay on schedule I'll be transferring stuff over next month.
