did you find the scrubber was a lot of upkeep? I hear it works but grows like crazy fast and needs to be cleaned

I ran my lights 20 hours a day. I cleaned the sheet about ever 2 weeks. I fought hair algae for ever, algae scrubber easily fixed that issue.
