OK, I hope all of you are as fat and happy as i am! too much turkey!!!

I have a prop system setup in my garage. I have an old MRC CaRX that i want to part with. I am prolly gonna sell it at the MASVC frag swap. a good beginner RX.

I was looking at a few brands. Precision Marine, Geo, Korrallin (i own a 1502), MRC, reefmania, MTC..... yada yada yada.

i like my 1502 but it is a PITA to adjust.

which brands do you have and which ones have you used. please post pics if you have them.

please be candid with your reviews as this will help other reefers as well.

This was easy for me. The koralin 1502 because it has a TEENY TINY footprint. Can't comment on ease/difficulty of adjusting, as it's the only reactor I've ever owned...

When I had my bigger tank I ran a 1502. It was the best reactor I ever had. I noticed that most good reactors take a little bit of dialing in and the 1502 is no exception. However once set I never had to worry about it until it was time to refill. One thing I would recommend with any reactor is having a secondary chamber, even if its small. This really helps eliminate excess CO2 and just makes most reactors more effective.

i was looking at the aquaC rx-1. the thing holds a complete container of ARM!!!

and boasts of having a low co2 consumption....

I think you may want to ask Greg Carrol about his Aqua C unit. It's custom, but he seems to like it a lot.

Me, I'm looking at either the AC, Geo or Euro Reef. The ER looks dirt simple, and that screw off top looks a lot easier than some of the other reactors ("cool" looking versus "PITA to work with" is a concern. I don't care if it looks like road kill; as long as it works and is easy to maintain, I'm down for it...).

Now if they would only release the damned things to production...
