Hey guys, my corals are getting ready to move into the display from my temp frag tank and I have been moving my rocks around some. I am not sure why I do this, but periodically I move stuff around.

Here is the latest. Let me know what you think? I dont love it. Its a barebottom for now (waiting on reef flakes to get into stock to get a few bags of it)
Ps sorry for the blurry pic, im still getting used to my camera

I actually kinda like that look. Its almost like you have 2 tanks lol!

I just looked up those reef flakes. Those seem pretty big. Wouldnt that be a major detritus trap?
exactly go BB cleaner and you dont have to worry about a pit full of detritus build up

Or at least a fine substrate like fiji or oolite, but hey, im a sand bed kinda guy. Its your tank, do what feels right, but with a coarse substrate, you are going to have to up your maintenance.

thx for the feedback. I didnt put the middle light obviously. I had 4 lights before but am able to use 3. These are full spec led panels. I am considering using epoxy or some sort of water cement to get those things to stick properly as currently they are just piled on. As far as sand, the reef flakes are the best sand out there. Its large enough not to get blown around but small enough to be ok with food. I have not read even 1 poor review on them. I was going to mix 2 bags of regular flakes and 1 bag of mini flakes. Ofcourse, as I type this, they are out of stock and eta on them is approx 1 month. Here is the link if anyone else was looking:
