As I am working on making my sump/fuge currently, I'm starting on figuring out how to best integrate it into my aquarium. As my tank does not have the plumbing for it, and I'm dreading drilling (well, not really, just not in the mood to get the hole drill set), I've been thinking of ways to set up an overflow. Yes, I know I could always buy an overflow, however, I was going through my old aquarium stuff, and I found an old power filter that was discontinued.
Which leads me to my question: would the old power filter be an effective way of supplying the sump (with modifications [like blocking the return, and drilling a hole for the line to the sump)?
