Heniochus butterflies bought them at the same time about the size of a quarter about 4 months ago. One is about 4" the other about 3". Going to try at least a pair of moorish idols and I don't want any fighting. Currently they swim a lot together but do have their moments apart and sleep together. They eat everything like pigs. $20 each or both for $35 for both. Sorry for the bad pic they move a lot

Here's a video too from about a month ago

Moorish Idols eh?? I love mine. I got extremely lucky that mine was eating when I found him at the store. Mine loves Nori and I feed it to him every day. We're on the 7 month mark with him. I hope he continues to prosper.

Sweet. I hear the first two years are the toughest. I had mine for about 8 months. Happy as can be till my black tang decided after being in qt with him for 3 months then 5 months in the display he just decided he no longer liked him and viciously attacked him. By the time I was able to get the idol out he was pretty tore up. He lasted another almost 2 weeks in observation but just wasn't the same till he passed. Since my black tang passed and can't currently afford another I want to try at least a pair of idols. I picked up 5 but had to separate them one by one till now that they are all separate because they all fight amongst each other. All tiny juvis about 1.5" no more than 2" all eating.

Are these the reef safe type? Depretus...
Not sure, i actually never knew there was a type that was reef safe until a recent convo on another thread where they had one in a reef and I asked and I was told there are two different types. I was told ellis knows how to tell them apart so I was going to ask simply out of curiosity.

From liveaquaria.com
The Schooling Bannerfish (Heniochus diphreutes) are almost identical to the Black & White Butterflyfish (Heniochus acuminatus). The most distinguishing feature of the Schooling Bannerfish Heniochus diphreutes is its rounder breast and less protruding snout.
