Par output on warehouse t5 fixtures? Does it matter what type of fixtures?

I've been an LED guy for almost the entire time reefing, so I decided to venture into t5 because of my SPS itch now.

I got my hands on warehouse t5 fixtures. These are t5 fixtures that are utilized to illuminate warehouse/businesses. Besides the fact that its all or none with the on/off functions what are the downside?

My actual concerns is the par output. Its all about the type of bulb right? Not the fixture?

I feel the fixture is more of programming and ability to turn on certain sections at a time.

I think a good reflectors plays a big part in par

I've never used a part meter to check the difference between my old reflectors (retrofit) and the new ones on the inexpensive Bad Boy fixture I have now, but all my coral are just as happy now as the were before. I have a canopy to hide the ugly fixture, but definitely prefer it to the retrofits. Actually, I think the new reflectors are nicer than the old beat up ones lol.
