They can when they get bigger. He's 3in give or take. He smacks the glass here and there but nothing i would be worried about. He needs a bigger tank. I don't have time and feel bad.

I would think an acrylic tank would be safer, but the mantis might scratch it up. My dentist had a 60 gallon acrylic that kids would pound on so I am assuming a mantis would be fine lol.
