I've been running my phosban reactor with rowphos and now phosAR HC. Not sure if it's just the PhosAR HC or not, but my pads seem to clogging up with in 2 to 3 days. I think the phosar HC media might be too small and is working it way into the pad to clog it up? Also the media seems to pack up quickly. The bottom pad with the media on it always rises up in the tube in about 3 days makes it way to the top. I'm running a MJ600 and have valves on the input/output to control the flow. It doesn't really matter what flow rate, the media no longer bubbles but the pads raise even when cleaned and new media put in. I've cleaned them thourghly several times with the same results. Thinking of buying new replacement sponge discs and maybe the regular phosar, not the HC. Any thoughts?
