Who's sick of the for sale thread and sponsor threads with pictures of the for sale coral fully saturated and photoshopped so much that it will never look like that in your tank? In my opinion only, I think it should be outlawed in the for sake section of the threads. Not saying that I've been duped by any means, but I see the coral with these fully detailed shots super saturated, and think, that'd be great if it would actually look like that in my tank, but it never will.

What do you think?

I mean I've taken great pics on my iphone with ZERO effects.

I think the picture editing is getting out of control. We just want to know what we're really buying

To be honest, a lot of times, unedited photos come out over saturated because of blue LEDs and the user doesn't know how to fix it or leaves it as is. So I don't think it's so much of people photoshopping pictures, but rather just taking bad pictures. If I were to take a raw picture with my DSLR it would come out super blue and I wouldn't have even messed with photoshop. And yes, other times, it's blatantly obvious. But I think a lot of time it's just user miseducation.

Lol yup I've learned to ignore those pics/posts. Doesn't happen to often here I think. More of the online eBay sellers.

How about blasting corals with blue LEDs? Same outcome pretty much. I normally do not trust too good to be true pics but the blue actinic LEDs got me many times :) .
wow that is that nice coral? This is the magicians, this is gsp, this is cherry charms, this is space monster. Wtf, they don't look like that in my tank! At all.
