That’s a good deal, you’d probably have to do weekly water changes, and stay on manually topping off for evaporation. I’m currently running a 4g pico from marine land, and it’s been no fox given at this point for tank husbandry.
I’d personally go with something a little bigger like a 10-15g. Innovative marine has good options.

Agreed, I would choose the 15 gallon from innovation marine and maybe get a clown - easy to feed fish that add activity to the tank

you’d still have a budget of $200 left over.
throw a kessil a80 over it, and Sand isn’t that’s expensive. I’m sure someone in the community will sell you some live rock.
Thanks. I actually have a 10 gallon IM I was just trying to find something smaller but I might just save money and set up the innovative marine. I don’t mind doing weekly water change since I do it to my main display tank every Monday. I should be testing my water but I never do now and just assume everything is good since no coral have died yet *knock on wood*by doing water change.

I might just go that route. I was avoiding setting up another “big” tank because I know my wife will probably say something lol.
