Pineapple Sponge?...

I've discovered what I believe to be a pineapple sponge in my sump, and I found a few on my acans too. I found them while cleaning my chaeto. Hopefully they are these sponges and they won't harm anything. From what I've ready they're tricky to ID, but not harmful if they truly are pineapple sponges.

Thanks Jesse, any idea why they'd attach to the skeleton base of my Acan?
only guess would be that the acan is in perfect placement with great flow and probably shaded and that's usually where they seem to love to attach themselves to filter food from the water column.
