Lance, you should reach out to BeanMachine on this method. The results didn't fare well for him but it did get rid of the cloves.

No controlling them.

How stocked is your tank?

Fluke tabs work but they might be hard to find and most likely will kill other corals. I lost a lot way back. Although others have had better success.

Personally I would cycle a bunch of new rock, remove your corals and chuck the pieces that have it.

Cloves are the debil.

If you want an all clove tank then sure go for it.
This why I hate Cody. He's always keepin it so real. But it's good advice. I remember Cody telling people not to get blue cloves right before he nuked his tank (because of blue cloves). And the whole time I though, meh it can't be that bad. Needless to say... Now I have blue cloves. Listen to the man.

Hey everyone. I also dealt with cloves and successfully removed them. I have a thread about it on here if you search for it. I used Fluke tabs as an in-tank treatment. It was toxic to a lot of things in my tank but i was able to successfully remove it without killing my corals. I did lose a few but my treatment was a little too potent.

these are old pictures but you can see the carpet of Red/brown cloves which is what i had.

I was gonna remove the 3 large rocks that have them and slowly add 1 rock per week to replace the rocks I removed
Looks like the tabs worked good for you
