do it on 'M'.. keep a steady hand... keep in mind 'white balance' setting.. play w/ the shutter speed.. get a tripod if need be.. UV filter is ideal, 10-20 bucks to protect a 150 dollar lens.. i think its totally worth it.. If u got a few few hours.. go to Barnes and Noble.. they got a book purely about the Rebel... btw, t1i or t2i?

Did my photos come up?? They are not showing up for me :(
Ok I have a tripod so that is covered and the uv fliter for each lens so that is covered. I messing with the white a lil bit and shutter speed. But getting frustrated with it.. And it is a e05 xsi looks like I will be going to the book store this weekend... :loldude:

Ruby,

I would also recommend getting a "remote shutter button" they are cheap like less than $30.00 for the actual canon one. It makes all the difference in the world though, when you are trying to take macro shots and small shake is multiplied when the subject is that magnified.

As controversial as it apparently is... a great example is the scoly shot that I posted...

I shot it at CFM in Ontario and I was standing over a display tank, while holding the shutter button... If you look closely you can see the blurriness from me holding it in my hands...

In this photo you can see that it is very clear and crisp as I used a tripod with remote shutter button...

Let me know if you need any help as far as the settings go.
