Please nominate new mod

That is going to be hard bill. because there are people here don't like some other people. Bad Blood. And if one of those people is given the power of MOD and they use it against there lets say Nemesis. It will turn into a big Argument that he/she is out for me and what not. So it should be some one Neutral who will be fair. Saying that i know it will eliminate a lot of people who want the position.

As hard as this is to believe, Robert, people CAN put personal feelings aside when in positions of authority. It happens all the time. It all depends on the players...

There's also the possibility of recusing themselves from decisions with regards to those players. Being able to approach problems in a logical manner, though, is crucial. There is no substitute for that IMO.

Honesty, all this conflict of interest stuff makes no sense to me. But it is what it is.

And bottom line people will argue it no matter what, as there is still old moderators here that have been accused of that, (sorry, <G> )

neutrality is not that hard or difficult to achieve. people are asked that all the time when they are jurors... some people are capable of it some arent. some may lie, to others or themselves and believe they are capable of it as well.

no true way to avoid that specific possible problem so no need to really worry about it till happens...

But a clean slate fo people to choose to do things differently or to repeat the same mistakes...

If the mods are on here enough, or if they become interested enough to research the root of the particular drama event will be paramount...


there is no arguing with date stamps... sorry, not going to detail that issue... but it really is the only way to be fair...

the baiting that steve mentioned that is still going on, is apparent... I have seen it, and tried to reach out to the party that i am able to communicate and express my thoughts on how his comments arent conducive to a positive environement here and i will continue, whether i am a mod or not...

If other parties reached out to other parties, that they can communicate with, and 'remind' them, quick enough.. drama would die down, at least this event will...

So the pardon is being sought since there's more at stake than just a ban. 18 months later the drama still continues even after time-outs were issued. I'd think by now a resolution could have been found without the need for outside intervention.

Why should pardon's be granted? Those of us that have never done anything to deserve a "time out" don't need a pardon. If those that recieved a "time out" acted like adults, they wouldn't have been given a "time out" to begin with. People knew the rules & broke them. When you break rules, you suffer consequences. I was taught that before kindergarden. Still applies today.

I wonder if your opinion would change if you were on the other side of the fence Bill?

Steve, no, i dotn think my opinion would change if i were on the 'other side of the fence'.

This is not a foreclosure foregiveness or bailout...

It is a bunch of guys that have gotten carried away... either on purpose or by antagonization...

as for the knowing of hte rules, although I have said it before, the rules are basically, 'golden rules' do onto others, type of things, but honestly and apparently the rules were not enforced evenly or fairly.. some didnt get punished that should have, and some got punished more then deserved...

And dare i even say that maybe mods/owners have made and or contributed to some of the mistakes made, even if it were one of neglect or failure to respond...


All things considered i see this as a positive thing for the board...




Also keep in mind i am not talking about the forgiving or pardoning of specific accusations or claims or anything other then reasons or causes for ban/slap from this forum...

And again, this is just a forum, just a bunch of guys that want to hang, joke, learn, whatever.. most dont want the drama... if you have a suggestion to stop the drama, maybe you should share it. certainly cant hurt to offer something other then to keep saying more mods and enforce the rules... cause that just hasnt worked yet...
