Alright you guys. Spent a long time trying to get the plumbing right the first time. So I go to set it up and I am an inch off on the return pipes. I put this piece of foam I had and it fits perfect my question is..... Is this a good solution or do I need to add an extender

Lol very creative :) . don't know but I normally see flex hoses being used down there because otherwise how do you take it out to clean or replace if it didn't need that foam to touch the bottom? James, newToThis, should chime in shortly right?

Do you have a pic of the rest of your p,umbing? You can always cut that section off put on a coupler and union. This one is for you Vu, the union at the pump and another some where along your plumbing would make maintenance a breeze....

It is a really simple setup. I don't know what happed. Maybe pushed the pipes in further when glueing. Anyway yea I have unions in here so no worries there.

Just cut it at the reducer add a union and if need too add a coupler If you fall short again...I know oh busted your arse putting that together, but your gonna loose so much pressure with your design and your not even getting a manifold out of it. I could pimp it out for you with a 3 valve manifold and a 4th for a WC.

OK I will redo it and update it later.... Before I glue.

I'd leave it on the foam, good dampener against vibration.
I ditch the foam inside the tank and put a foam board across the length the sump on the out side. That would dampen and level your sump if it's not level same thing for your DT.

What is a good number of manifolds to put on? I am thinking 4? Which might be to many for my needs but might as well put to many than need on

ill give it to you, you are persistent...

BTW since you guys were talking about foam padding under tank and DT, What thickness is suggested and what's the foam board called? I went to HD and they had a pink on and another one that was white with labeling on one side and I thought aluminum foiling on the other.

I vro vro...which one?

what's an average price or where can I get best price?

My bad I was asking about the foam board since it was talked about earlier.
I wasn't knocking you. I like the fact that you are handling yours. Keep it up brother handle yours.
