This all easily cost me around $600 in total. It’s a full PhytoTank CL system with a bunch of extras I accumulated over a few years of making my own Phyto and pods.
Almost everything needed to get going again. Just need some starter pods, phyto and salt water. Maybe some fertilizer would be needed too mine might be expired. But overall the system would be turn key.
Include extra about 80 extra tank liners. Something like 40 bottles for bottling the Phyto and pods for selling or your own use. Pod screen and coffee filters. Microscope to look at your harvest up close. Borosilicate glassware for mixing and harvesting easier. Magnetic stirrer and bar for stirring fresh salt water. Air pumps for circulation. Few other odds and ends. It’s a dream setup for this for sure.
I took my whole Phyto and pod system offline about a year ago. Some of you have probably bought from me before. This system works super well and is about the easiest and secure way of harvesting your own Phyto and pods for your reef.
I was hoping to have more time at some point to get this going again but it’s not happening so I want to pass it along to another Reefer.
