Power just went out. Luckily, I was still awake. I have my Vortech backups running in my 150, thank goodness! My nano is the only one without circulation. Might buy a few battery backups more to have as spares. The power is supposed to come back at 2:30 AM, but heck, who knows with SCE.

Must be an old battery backup if it lasted less than an hour. Has your power came back on yet ?

It was old. Ordered a new one.

Lights came back on after a few hours. Hopefully, I didn't lose anyone during that time. Crossing my fingers...

I had a power outage in Pomona last month at 2am. I use a UPS , but the problem was it powers ALL the equipment. So with the skimmer, main pump and tank pumps I got about 30 mins lol.
Luckily I have my portable battery air pump. My outage only lasted 1 hour. It is scary though when you do have an outage since you dont know know long it will last and if all your live stock will be ok.
Glad your power is back on.

Those suck... they over charge the battery. I mod mine to be able to handle easily 18 hours on one mp40. Had to get different smart charger and new battery.
