Edison turned off the electricity today so they could do some scheduled maintenance(7am-5pm). A couple times per hour I would remove 15 gallons of water and then pour it back into the tank trying to keep it oxygenated enough that nothing died. At 515 my electricity was still off so I called Edison and they said it would not be turned on until 10pm..... WTF!!!!!!!! Panic mode quickly set in. Luckily a buddy had a generator I could borrow and allowed me to get my return pump on and 1 light for the kids to have dinner by.
Anyways, the electricity came on around 945 and I guess tomorrow I will know if anything died.

I have endured 5 power outages since 07/28, and will have one or two more over the next two weeks. Really pissed as they don't seem to have any clues on what they are doing. Their operator cannot provide any information as to why these outages are happening and what's more to do. All they can tell me is whether the power is on or not. Freaking useless IMO. I'm doing my best to keep my language clean in the posting and hope SCE gets their act together.
