I love having my gyres and MP40's controlled with the wave engine (ETM version), it's great to have all of them in sync together under one controller. The key to gyres, as mentioned earlier, is having extra impellers and cages to swap out for cleaning. It takes less than 5 minutes to swap both pump's cages, etc. I even bought an extra 330 when CoralVue was discounting them for $80. I wish that Tunze would make a Stream 3, but smaller, somewhere in between the 6040 and Stream 3. It would be nice if they just made a laminar flow pump and ruin the competition.
