It's a 27"it is a.great light but you really need two of them for a 48" I had a.Cheap 2 bulb t5 on the side and I really liked the look or you could probably get away with the wide spread lens they sell

It's actually 19"tall 24"wide

24" wide was cool for your rock work and so you don't have to pile up rock on wall and for swimming room
