It has been a very interesting thread... so i guess they are certain type of people eater.

Either way, they are very nice and good size polys (~1/2" when fully opened); if anyone is interested, feel free to make an offer. Tx.

There is no way that is a purple death because purple deaths are palythoas, not zoanthids like the PPEs are (and the ones in your picture are). The colors on your piece are very off for a PPE, but there is a chance that they could have changed colors in different lighting.

I don't think so either. They could be something similar IF the tentacles and mouths color up. But I've never seen PPE with light colored radiating lines on the oral disc like those.

thanks guys for the feedback. I agreed Mike that they are not purple death.. I asked around a few times. People either said it is purple people eater or red people eater.

Anyone else cares to comment the type of zoas/polyps this is?

This is a great site and always learn something new from fellow reefers :>

Thanks

Well they are not PPE and also to believe that they are not RPE either. They are still nice and good luck with your sale.
