I picked up this PBT from another reefer and shortly after he got ick. I was feeding selcon/garlic with nori and it was just about gone but I woke up to him looking like the pic. Looks like fin rot but I couldn't find recent treatment or cure for it. I have a 20L QT I am setting up right now with my change water so I can put him in there to do whatever so this guy makes it! What meds or treatment should I do? Sorry for the crappy pic. uploadfromtaptalk1416177602641.jpg

Stupid auto correct on the title changed it to PUT lol meant PBT powder blue tang

Was he healthy when you picked up?
He was healthy but the guy had him In the sump only feeding him Chaeto so it took me a few days to get him to eat nori and pellets. He did give him a scab trying to catch him though that I noticed when I got him home.
Also he stopped eating now which is concerning me the most that he may not come around if I don't treat...

Looks like I need 1 of these: formalin, seachem paraguard, or seachem curpamine. Anyone know of a LFS that stocks these?

I feed and soak all my pellets with reef plus. Had some tangs kick ich for months with it. More immune system boosting then sickness/parasite curing.

Yeah I have been soaking his nori in selcon and garlic every day plus pellets. Reef plus looks like a coral supplement do you add it to your food?
