putting in a pond

i was wondering if anyone here has a pond. any advice would be helpful and is there any pond forums like this one that are in socal thanks for your help.:goldfish:

No pond. But I did just clean out a pot I have some water lillies in. Tons of little pod like creatures. Not mosquito or dragon fly larva. In my fountain I have several mosquito fish.
Not sure of your location. In Westminster on Golden West Ave. North of the 405fwy on the Eastside there is a really nice pond shop.

some tips if you plan a koi pond:

you will always want to upgrade bigger later. So, Go big as you can and 3 feet deep minimum...
Make an up wall pond to help Keep out frogs and what can get in.
Do a good job on the filtration, don't skimp, if you skimp, you will regret later.
Plan properly on the electrical layout.
