I wanted to ask how are you getting finicky eater to eat? ( Potter's Angels, Potters Wrasses, Morish Idols, leopard wrasses ext.)

I have a 24 gallon innovative marine all in one

I seed it with tiger pods from a local grower and I add doing the the time I'm introducing frozen, flake and pellets.

Any insight would be great.

Please and thank you

My local lfs sells live black worms. The movement of the worm when they are dropped into the water will excite most fish. Moorish idols are very difficult to feed but ive had some success when I produce live baby brine along with the black worm & live pods from my main display. Idols will also feed on seaweed rubber banded to a rock. The most difficult ones have been wild mandarin gobys. Having a tank mate that gobbles up everything in QT, also helps in getting any fish curious in tasting prepared foods, monkey see monkey do. Parameters are also a big factor in getting fish comfortable enough to want to feed. Also provide them with a safe space where they can hide to find security but not disappear. Hope it helps.

Picky eaters love selcon soaked mysis and brine in my experience. I think the other over looked thing is decent flow in QT. I added a small tunze I had to my 40g and immediately noticed more feeding response from fish in QT, specifically anthias. Pouring the food in the stream adds strong movement and triggers their feeding response. If it’s soaked in something like selcon then they’ll actually swallow it down. I add a small amount of garlic and amino once they are eating to cover the taste of whatever meds I’m feeding for internal parasites.
