You don't see curved tanks much anymore. Nicely lit.

There is a large cylinder tank at Harry's Marine Life in Gardena. I like curved tanks because of the perspective if I got one again I would get a wide shallow cylinder tank.

I've seen that one at Harry's. It's just not that common.

What percentage are you running the lights at? I picked up one of his Helix Meso Blues and was shocked at the par. I have it turned down to 25%. Quanta lights are a great value.

You can control the percentages of the light? I was not aware of that.

I have been looking more into the lights and found a channel that says I can run them on a dimmer. Who here runs either the Kasa or the Treatlife dimmer on their quanta pros?

Question but how many would you need to cover a 52x24x20 tank?

these lights are a great value

I have his newer light bar, the Quanta Helix. It came with a dimmer, but I connected it to the Apex and used the controller to dim the light.

You can’t dim the pro version only the new helix. I also wouldn’t try to DIY a dimmer for the pro version, it’s not worth messing up the lights. I have the pro version and I turn them on one at a time. There are no issues with fish or corals turning the lights on and off. Dimming is completely unnecessary, but it is a nice feature, which is why Luca improved on his previous design. Helix bars and the Atlas are no joke, they are the best bang for buck lights out there. You don’t need fancy features like individual channels to grow coral, in fact, most people don’t know what they are doing in regard to spectrum. Turn on, grow coral, done.

I really like my Quantas as well. I was working on a budget so went all Quanta Pro, great bars. No dimming on the Pros and not as much PAR. They have the best spread/PAR penetration ratio out of the bars I have tried. Colors are great and I run them with kessils so I get shimmer. Very close to MH in appearance.

I believe this was Kessils 50% color and just the ReefCrest AB+ quantas on. Tank is 50x36x27" This is 3 x 36" quanta pro reefcrest front to back and 2 kessils. I Run 2 OGPop to get the PAR I want throughout so the tank is much more blue than this picture. For that reason alone, I wish I went Helix but my tank is deeper than average, and I like to keep high light stuff lowish so most would be fine with the pros.

Your tank is really beautiful, I love the lighting. I am not a huge fan of heavy blue lighting so seeing tanks that aren't so heavy on it is great.
