Hey yall,

I have an old tank that i used for qt and had copper in it, was wondering if it would be wise to clean it up to start a reef tank?
would there be something i had to do to clean it up?

I doubt you'd have any issues. The only thing copper sticks in is like rock and sand, filter sponges. Not silicone, plastic.

Agreed^^ but i would still clean it out, a clean fresh tank always clears the mind of the "what ifs".. and if something happened down the road you can safely tell yourself that this problem didn't occur because I started with a fresh tank
