anyone use glue gun to glue dryrock together?

no but I use quickcrete from homedepot. has to be the cistern safe one. It's cheap and freakin strong! Don't think hot glue will cause any water problems but don't take my word for it. But I don't think hot glue will hold up too well either when you're trying to keep 5-15lb rocks in place.

Glue gun does not even hold stuff that it is made for

I wouldn't use it in my tank.
I would use that quikrete stuff or emarco 400 or even zip ties and epoxy instead
