I have 2 radians on a 92 gallon tank there 10 inches above the water. My tank is 28 inches deep, water is probably 26 with sand, and I turned them from 35% up to 45% and it looks like a couple of my SPS are slightly Browning. Too high ? recommendations on how high I should have them turned on?. I am using the Radiant color schedule template. Ramps up slowly. I have a mixture of SPS and Lps.

If they're browning they're probably not getting enough light or there are other issues with your water. 2 radions over a tank that large is probably very minimal coverage even at max power.

Thanks guys, my pH is 8.2 kh 9, nitrates 5 , very little phosphates, calcium 500, magnesium not sure, getting new test kit thursday. MY LPS are good, acans good, zoas good. The across that are discolored are from MAX expo. They were a little bleached out to begin with I believe and I dipped them a little too long when I put them in tank. Only 1/2 of the 10 I bought, look discolored. This is a 92 bowfront, 2 radions is quite sufficient, from what I have been told, I thought around 35% was the norm ?

I had two radions over a 125 at 80% with 2 t5s, 8 inches over the water line. I am now running an ATI 6 bulb with my two radions at 25%! The whole low percent was hype at the beginning of the LED era. The key is giving your corals time to acclimate to the increase in lighting! Don't go from 30 to 70 over night, 5% per week. Plenty of people are running these close to 100% but just took time to get there. Consider supplimenting with a couple t5 for better color and growth. I have my two t5 retro kit if your interested.

Good luck!

I brought my down from 55 to 45 and the corals seem to like it better I think I will slowly bump them up with time.
