Alright so I've had my RBTA for probably 2 months now...for the 1st month it was chillin' on my aquascaped "anemone island"(just an outcropping isolated in the sand that stretches all the way to near the surface). I fed it some frozen brine once and it seemed happy...all was well.
Now about 2-3 weeks ago I started feeding it .25" chunks of shrimp. 1st feeding he was chill and stayed in place. 2nd feeding and it decided to start a friggin' marathon. It went from being on top of an outcropping with great light and flow to the sand then behind the rockwork then under the rockwork. This has been going on for the last 2-3 weeks with no rhyme or reason. I know they do this, I once had a BTA that wandered for a week but then settled. What's getting me is there is NO apparent logic to the movement, one day it will be in GREAT positioning, the next it will be in a dark crack fully inflated deep in the recesses...wtf? The worst is I can't even see it half the time. I don't have clowns for it...maybe that is the reason for all the movement?
Has anyone had this happen for this long? Is there any trick to getting it to settle somewhere I can actually enjoy viewing it? Like I said this all started when I began feeding it raw shrimp weekly...so maybe just stop feeding??? Thanks in advance! Some of you peeps are friggin' gurus on this stuff so I know I'll get plenty of advice.
