Just picked her up today. She was good when I placed her in the nook in my rocks, but just kept shoving her way deeper into the rock.

Should I try and snag her out or just wait and hope till she moves?

Shoot, I just checked and she went all day way under..sigh, get i'm moving some rocks tonight...:a36:

might not be liking what ur doing.. let it be for a couple of days, u know where its at so no big.
+1 it has a foot that it WILL use to walk around and find a suitable piece of realty...give it a couple of days...
Even now?!

He's under a piece of LR that i plan on removing after my new rock has seeded, so i can still kinda get to him. Or should I just leave it be.

At my work tank we have 6 RBTA's. We have 5 that don't move at all and one that has circled the tank 2 or 3 times now. As long as he stays away from any power heads I don't bother him. Just my opinion.

I heard the owner quote $75 to another customer a week earlier. I picked up all kinds of items today so he gave me a pretty good deal, so i'm reluctant to say out loud. Lets just say it was too good to pass up.

The little guy buried itself deep so I moved some things around and it's right side up now. Knocking on wood that it stays there tonight. :a36:

Yup...they like to have their foot buried deep inside a crevice and they will stretch out to have their tentacles outside the rock...my RBTA has its foot buried about 5" inside my rockwork but it extends just fine and is perfectly happy. When I first got it, it retracted DEEP into the rockwork and then walked around a little and then settled...patience...

never buy a pink RBTA... the reason it's hiding is because it's too much light for it... i only buy RBTA or any BTA when they're under MH or decent T5HO... let it acclimate it self slowly... don't rush it...

Anemones do not belong in newly established aquariums. Light and food are just a couple of variables.

I thought that only applied to SPS? Learn something new everyday.

The tank is semi-new. Lot of it was transferred from my old tank. ShouldI have waited longer? Lack of patience is always my downfall.

I did switch lights, but the nem was a new addition. Actually IIRC, they had T5 lights where this nem was, so this could be the case..
