YOUR FINE!! just leave it ALONE! they have a mind of their own and by moving the rock to bring it up will only make it mad! if its hiding, then its hiding for a reason! did u acclimate it? whenever i add a nem or something of that sort i drip it for an hour..and ive never lost 1 anemone! i learned the hard way with my first nem, it moved to a rock where i didnt want it to be, so i moved alll my rocks around so it was back where i wanted it..then the next day it moved right back where it was! another thing some people might not realize is WATER FLOW! typically with the BTAs ive had they usually move because of the flow....the 4 i have usually move towards a medium flow area...and i doubt ur LED is too much light for that thing..MY BTAs (i have 4) are all very close to the top of my tank and i have 3x 250w MH..those things LOVE light! .im sure not every nem is the same..but thats my experience with them good luck

and mine have made it thru all kinds of crap..i switched my tank from a 90 to a 180 and they sat in a trash can for like 12 hours with almost no flow or light and then i thru them into a new tank that was all murky and i didnt lose one..however i know they dont do good with salinity swings...thats why u need to drip them for an hour...so maybe check ur salinty and make sure its good!

Salinity is good @ 1.025 and the nem along with the snowflakes were acclimated for more than an hour (was hoping some hosting was gonna happen, but no dice).
It moved a little farther back from where it was last night, closer to the mp10.

Ya I had one in a nano tank and mine ended up moving right in front of the flow ...I've heard if u put the clowns and nem in a container together they will eventually host it. Might wanna try that

Well I was hoping they would when I acclimated them, kept them in the container for well over an hour. But there's no way i'm getting them out of the tank now. :bolt:

Update!

Turns out it was it was still acclimating to the lights. I redid my rock scape to the middle so pinkie wound up right under the light. She went completely stressed. I shaded her under a rock and but had to take off for a couple days. And what did I see when I got home, front and center..?

A little patience and shade in the right direction.
And look who found their home!

Happiness is once again restored. :peace:

My bad, not sure if I wasn't clear. She was kinda tucked away in the back when I first moved the rock, but now I'm plenty happy with where's she moved too. Moved right front and center.

Hope she stays there. That's a great place for her! I've never had luck with nems staying put. They either wind up in a powerhead or wander till they starve... Hope you have better luck than me!

Is your nem wild or tank raised. I currently have a rbta tank raised, and if it decides to move, it only moves about 1-2 inches , and thats it ! Always stays in front.... Maybe I'm just lucky with this one...

I'm sorry to hear that John! I'm hoping for the best, but so far so good.

Good to know, thanks! I'm not sure with mine, but I'm leaning towards tank raised. She's stayed still since she been placed, just pops out of different crevices from the rock from different sides.
